 Description

Besan (gram flour) is finely ground powdered flour made from fried chana dal, which is split chickpeas. Besan is primarily used as paste made with water or yoghurt for batter or breading for many Indian fritters such as Pokaodas. Some Indian recipe also use Besan to thicken the curry sauce.
